"take a walk with a turtle...behold the world in pause"
The park is inspired by turtles. The masterplan concept is to metaphor the turtle life cycle into the user’s journey starting from the turtle nest as a resting area, turtle trails as wavy walkways and benches, the turtle’s egg as spreading furniture, the hatchling ground as a kid’s ground, the turtle ground as an event area where having a multi-purposed lawn at the centre wrapping with an event corridor for commercial and cafe area. The project is a public park for everyday uses which can hold a flea market on a specific day, and commercial events at the weekend which will sustain the project, increase local income and stimulate the economy and tourism in the area.
TURTLE’S TRAIL
The axonometric shows the inspiration of the turtle's life cycle overlayed on the project to create activities, people flow, and different functions.
COMMERCIAL FLOW
The axonometric shows the commercial activities located in the project threaded by the wavy commercial route to activate the whole project livelily.
PEOPLE FLOW
The axonometric shows the flow of relaxation activities in the project connected through the path inspired by the turtle trail’s creating people turtle-alike activities.
